I am changing it as we speak....

I made a vow to myself for my 40th birthday.

In a nutshell, I vowed to start putting others in front of myself, doing things for others without them asking....being proactive, not reactive... & to really make a difference in peoples lives.

It's working....

Oboy! Hard question. An even harder question is: if we had it to do over again would we REALLY do it differently?

If I should be given that opportunity, though, I hope that I would live more in the present and be less obsessed with both the past and the future. I struggled for years for financial security and status that materialized only to evaporate when I needed them most.

I wasted further moments adding up to years, dwelling on past mistakes, nurturing pointless grudges, and harboring futile regrets.

Now that I am old I am getting over it and enjoying the present more, but I urge you to start when you are young. At that stage, there is more about the present to enjoy and more future to look forward to with anticipation. Please don't look ahead with fearful anticipation as I did! Such moods cast long shadows.

These errors are common, but nonetheless wasteful of precious years filled with irreplaceable moments. Wise are the young who learn these things now by listening, instead of leaning them later through lost moments and years.

Pay attention to this, then quit listening to me and start listening to the other older people--- :people who have benefited from having a better attitude from the very beginning.

I would change having to wear glasses. I've missed out on alot in life, and hate how it's either wear them and risk losing or breaking them, or take them off and not being able to see, in certain situations. Plus I think of all the money I could have saved over the years that involved glasses.

Unfortunately...money. It is needed these days to live and it sux not having any. I would love to change places with one of these price gouging refinery CEO's who give themselves a multi-million dollar severance package (for what...they won't live long enough to spend it all) and let that sorry SOB live my mediocre life living paycheck to paycheck spending half of it on gas and the other half on rent and utilities hoping to have enough left over for food (and by the way, I'm not a "minority" so I automatically don't qualify for free money. I also don't speak spanish so I don't get all those benefits either)

Worry less. And just accept the good things that happen. Without analyzing. Always be nice to my man just the same way he's always nice to me, without fail (even though there are times when i should be nicer to him).

Win the jackpot in the lottery some day!!!!!

Everything. Especially family. I would not trust any of them. I would still love them, I just wouldn't put my faith in them. The 3 strikes law would have to apply and then that would be it! Time to move on! God Bless!

I would have found out the parameters required to keep the Top Contributor badge, and asked/answered enough Q's to keep that thing.

I wouldn't change anything about my life...I love my life just the way it is.

I would have friends that weren't so self centered and actually care about how other people feel. Why, because I am sick of hearing all of their problems and not having them listen to mine once in awhile.
