might need to check that the proper fuel pressue is being pushed to the motor.
If not then you have a bad fuel pump.
But check all fuel filters and lines for blockage. If timing seems to be the problem check it with a timing gun and make sure that the motor is set up at top dead center before doing so.

is this an old truck, is the fuel pump mounted on the side of engine, or is it is the fuel tank...either way, change the inline filter under the truck and then see if performance is better.

if the fuel pump is in the tank and you didnt change the one inch rubber hose between the pump and the fuel line or the screen try that first if it is on the block(carbeurated model) check the tank screen or a leak in the fuel line. also check for loose hose clamps beween your tank and your pump it may be sucking air.

I had a ninety seven the injectors are shitty to assert the least. That motor is quite choosy related to the gasoline tension. i think of you basically have like a 10 PD variety on tension. Your autozone has the non-public loan a device application and that they've a gasoline tension tester you need to use and that they might inform you the type. Mine replaced into 4 PDS below the low factor and replaced into doing incredibly lots an identical element. The try port is seen in the gasoline line in the back of the motor. If the stress is stable its the injector device which isn't low-priced

I guess you are talking about an older Chevy. Check your fuel lines. You may have a pin hole leak in a line or a collapsed flexible fuel line.

I think it is the performance chips men. Better have it checked, because it is too costly to change a performance chip.
