If we did it on a weekend...the men(and some women) would want to stay home and watch football....so whose to say if it would ever be a good day...

Little if any. It's not lack of opportunity, it's lack of motivation that keeps people from voting.

Changing the day of voting will probably not affect much of the turnout because people deems it right to vote on election day.

At the end whoever wanted to vote would vote, but I would say yes. Marginally, the number of people voting will increase. There are quite a few people who could not vote because of work.

Unlikely, if at all.
The polls are open 7 am to 9PM, voting takes only a few minutes, and most people only live a short distance from their polls.
The people who claim they're too busy would be too busy on a Saturday,Sunday or any other day.

I think that should be considered. I think the weekend would have a bigger turnout.

not as much as having candidates that represent the people (instead of their corporate handlers)
