im working on my first home, i just had a bid accePted that is going to Put us in a bind on moving since our lease is running out before the house is ready for close, so the earnest money is like a diamond right now that could go either way, i would stay another month in my home now but the gas cost is 600 a month to drive the distance! somebody Please give some good ol fashion advice

You wrote an offer on a home BEFORE your credit was cleaned up and you were approved ????? Are you certain that you WILL be approved ? The only advice I can give to you in this mess is to not make the same silly mistake should there be a next time. Where did you plan to live, may I ask, given that your lease was to expire before the close on the new home ?

Ask your agent to move up the close date, then ask your mortgage company to move up the date.
