It depends on where you live. In Pine Bluff, Ar. If you called our Office it would cost you 60.00 In Little Rock it would run you around 90.00 That covers a 1 hour service call, so keep in mind that leaves plenty of time to take care of that leaking faucet and the leaking drain line under your sink allso. Just make sure your getting a 1 hour service call ahead of time and then make the most of it. Most plumbers will gladly accept there money for that 1 hour service call after that 5 min. spent uncloging your toilet and be on there way to the next call if you allow it to happen. Know what your paying for and get what you paid for and youll see that the prices are not as bad as some would lead you to belive.

They should have given you a price BEFORE the work started. Many plumbers use a 'flat rate' price to do the work. That means if it takes 15 minutes or 5 hours and 15 minutes the price is the same.

You definitely got ripped since you could have bought an auger for about twenty bucks and turned the handle on it yourself for 15 minutes.
