Yes you do. You can learn the state tax where you live, and multiply the tax by the price of the cd, then add the sum to the price of the cd to figure it out.
For example:
$9.99

If you submit to a share ware music program for $10or $20 then down load the songs and burn it your self you can get a lot more music for your Buck in the long run.

it depends on the tax percent where you are......if the sales tax is 7% for example, your total cost would be 10.69. 12.00 will be plenty.
