I'd have to say the season Carrie Underwood won. That was a great year! The last two years have been just okay.

I would have to say SEASON 5. They had the most mix of singers...Rockers, Country singers, Pop singers, and R&B people. ++++++That season had my favorites: Daughtry, McPhee, Yamin, and....Pickler :)

I LOVE BLAKE! He can sing every style of music and is more of an artist of today than anyone else.
I have seen American Idols come and go because their voices are heard through artist that already exsist. While yes they maybe good singers, it does not make me rush to the counter and by their album.
I would go today and buy the Bon Jovi remake that Blake made last week. I am not thrilled about any of the songs this week for any of the contestants.

Last year was the best!! Daughtry is the best ever!!! I am obsessed with AI!! I haven't watched it at all this year though! I think it is awful this year!! I also Love Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, and Katherine mcphee..Oh and pickler of course. Fantasia is the worst ever!!

season two for sure! The year Clay Aiken was in there and should have won! I t was an awesome season except for the lst episode when ruben won. Clay has sold like 300 times as many cd's as ruben!
