I would be more aggresive . I would use more economical methods such as carpet bombing of the cities . There just hasn't been enough blood shed to earn their respect . There should be pieces of Iraqis flying through air every day . The journalists should have body parts and sprayed blood stuck in the hair when they do their reports . We need to build a pipeline like Alaska to easily transport the oil from their country to our ships .
I would get rid of all health insurance and everyone would have to pay cash for their care so the prices would drop .

I would end the war in Iraq. I would tell the Iraqi people for them to defend their selfs. They do not want a government that has freedom of religion. They want Islam to be the law. As far as health care I would get universal healthcare. Everyone needs insurance coverage. I would issue a medicare for everyone. Medicare can't be over charged. Either by hospitals or doctors. Hospitals should be happy they would treat everyone with insurance. Then insurances could be eliminated. I know the big rich people would not like that. The rich don't see a health care problem. They all have good insurance. Health care would be like in Canada or England. Everyone would be treated and no one would have to file for bankrupcy just for going to the hospital.

I feel I'm qualified to answer this on both counts.

1. Iraq - I live in Lampasas, TX. That is about 25 miles from Ft. Hood, home of the 1st Air Cav and the 4th ID. ALL of my friends have had 2 tours there already. The 4th ID is going back in Aug (they just got back too). Know what they say? Let's get the hell out. I have lost 3 friends so far, as in freaking dead. Tell the troops that 'you don't support the troops' since they say get the hell out. Ha.

2. I've worked at 2 hospitals, Scott and White in Temple and the Methodist in San Antonio. I would get rid of HMOs, lawyers, and the insurance companies. That is why health
care is so expensive. There is a bundle being made. Socialized Medicine will not fix things. It will only get the govt more involved. Leave the doctors alone and let them do their jobs. Govt. out of our lives, out of our medicine, and out of our wallets.

I would simply leave the country and allow the UN to take control over the country, I believe the US has done enough damage in the Middle East by destabilizing Iraq. What's next are we going to attack Venezuela because President Chavez offended George Bush, and he remains friends with President Castro.

As far as Health Care, you need to get rid of the loddiest for the AMA in order to get anything done with healthcare. I think you need to stop the lawsuits against doctors which is driving their insurance through the roof, which is making them charge more for medical procedures, thus raising the cost of medical insurance. If it wasn't for these medical procedures the life expectancy for Americans would be 45. Thanks to our health care it is 70 and growing. Doctors are going to make mistakes hell they have one of the toughest jobs on the planet. The problem with this country is they have too many lawyers and they are all looking for the quick buck.

My healthcare proposal is simple: I would pass a Good Samaritan Law that doesn't allow doctors or hospitals to sued for malpractice. In cases of negligence, the hospital will be required to give free health care for life to family members of the injured and the offending doctor and any healthcare professional who "looks the other way" loses his or her license to do anything in the medical field anywhere in the country. If doctors and hospitals don't have to pay exorbitant insurance premiums they can afford to give affordable health care to everyone.

As for Iraq, at this point I would take us out to give our troops the R&R they need. I would bring back the draft and in 2 years, I would declare war on every country in the Middle East. I would send 3-4 MILLION American troops into the region to make sure none of those countries could ever hurt us again. Within two years of declaring war we would have world peace. You have to remember, these fundamentalist Muslims aren't human, they're animals and the moderate Muslims aren't doing anything to keep them in line.

I would send as many soldiers into Baghdad as possible and institute a strict curfew. Those loyal to al-Sadr or any other such leader, especially those in government, would be rounded up and tried by Iraqi courts, with a huge reward for information leading to the capture or death of insurgents. Any foreign power trying to encourage the insurgency will lose any aid we're giving them and American companies will not be allowed to do business there.

As for healthcare, I'd donate a percentage of my salary to help, but I would not force taxpayers to get the bill for another massive bureaucracy.

Iraq - get an international group of moderate Muslim countries to send troops so ours can leave. They can handle it better. They don't need our troops any more, they need a police force. We would continue to train Iraqis to police themselves and rebuild their country.

Health care - require employers to provide coverage, allow them to join alliances with other small employers to bargain with private insurance providers to bring prices down, expand existing govt' insurance to cover all unemployed. This would end up saving money by allowing for preventive care instead of emergencies and more workers on disability. (This is basically the old Clinton plan from 1994, by the way!)

I maintain a strong stance on the war on terror. I pressure Iranian, Syrian, and Palestinian leaders. I build my alliance with Israel.

I keep health care private. Free health care is pointless, cause you just get the money out of the people through taxes, so either way they're payin' up. Just look at France.

I would get the hell out of Iraq.
For healthcare I would propose taking the money out of politics, no lobbying, no millions of dollars to be elected, then the healthcare problem would get resolved by a real political process that serves the people not big money.

Remove the opportunity to create windfall profits from both the war and from the health care system and I'm more than halfway to a solution.
