That means that it is night time on the other side of the world. There are still stars out, but yeah...pretty much pitch black. Just grab a flashlight..Lol.

no, if it's and eclipse then the oppsite is happening over there, like if you see a solar eclpise then the other side has a lunar. idk but the other is if the sun is coming up and you can still see the moon then the other side has no moon. that happens somethimes but by the power of electricity and stars, the other side of the world is not pitch black.

If the Sun is in the sky, the other side of the world is in darkness... we call that Night... you can see the stars :)
The Moon can be in the day time sky or night time sky... it's not too particular about where it hangs out :)

Is it not obvious that if you can see the sun, then the other side of the world is in its night. Surely that is obvious.
They just won't see the moon. That's obvious as well.
Some people live for years and suddenly see the moon in daylight, when it is visible in daylight the same amount of time it is visible at night.
Incredible! We live in the space age and people are so ignorant of the most obvious things in the sky.

lets just say that you are at the equator, it is either the spring or fall equinox, and it is sunrise. So approx. half way around the world, someone else at the equator will see the sunset, but not the moon.

It's night time there. Half the time, you can't see the moon - sometimes you see it at night, sometimes during the day.
