Faster was Deion Sanders, he ran a 4:165 at the combine, that is unheard of. However, who is better, well Darrell Green was a better tackler, not really saying much. But Deions cover abilities definitely made up for his lack of tackling ability. He is the better of the two, and the best corner ever I believe.

The legend of Deion Sanders 40 time might make people think he was the fastest player ever timed but there is no proof of it ever happening. So I'd have to say that Darrell Green was faster because he almost beat Deangelo Hall in a race at the age of 40. DG was the man.

Darrell Green was better against the run. Deion Sanders was faster.

I don't know if we will ever see athletes as good as these two again at their given position. Deion ran a 4.19 40 in the NFL combine coming out of college. He also had a coach time him running a 40 backward 4.7 (That is insane).

Darrell Green played all those years kept his speed up and really delivered the hits. He was insanely fast for just about his entire career.

If I started a team tommorrow and these guys where both rookies, I would take Green, just for the attitude and longgevity.

But I would have to say Deion was fast and no one is, was, better.

Darrell Green was faster, but Deion was better. Darrell Green was too small dominate like Deion Did. Green was however the NFL's fastest man for several years.

i cant believe anybody would say Deion was faster.......

they obviously never watched Darrell Green, he was widely overlooked and not a big fan favorite because he wasnt flashy........

Darrell Green is widely accepted as the fastest man ever in the NFL by just about anybody........

you ask a player who is the faster player theyve ever seen, and they ALL say Green

but i think Deion was the better player simply because he was taller and had better ball skills.........he also had great instincts......

Deion was faster--when people talk about legendary NFL speed, his name usually comes up first--and he was a better cover corner. Darrell Green, however, was a better all-around cornerback: he could cover AND tackle.

Overall, Deion was a better player: in addition to his coverage skills, he was one of the most dangerous return men (punts and kickoffs) in NFL history.

Deion Sanders! Green was much more boring and Deion had the most athletic plays in the NFL. But that question is like asking, who's better joe montana or dan marino? marino statisticly but if you watched them play, most likely montana. Green takes the statistics for the most part.
