Is it alright for a girl to wear a big belt buckle?

large, even studded/rhinestoned belt buckles are really cute on girls!

Depends on what kind of big buckle. If the design is too masculine then no. If not then it's cool. In fact i love belts with big buckles. Belts are fashion statements to me

Nope. Unlike with the hands, a big belt buckle does NOT mean a big stick.

if you've got the waistline for it - go for it! my fave belt is an old sixties brown leather belt with a peace sign for the buckle! the buckle is fairly large and everytime either my daughter or i wear it, we get compliments galore!

yea it's okay as long as it isn't on a skirt or dress, but with jeans they look good ( not the masculine kind though)
