Ever since I tried shaving my pubes with my own "man" razor about 8 months ago I got razor burn ALL over. Most of it went away but there were still a couple spots that kind of are like pimples now. I found a new "lady" razor recently and used that and realized the difference, but still have the pimples. I have tried applying my own medicated acne cream, and not shaving at all to reduce irradiation but nothing is working. Please suggest a way that I can rid of this and keep it away in the future. Thanks

1) stop shaving NOW!
2) Sooth the area with aloe vera gel (sold for sunburn relief) and baby powder or Gold Bond while it's growing out -- at least a month.
3) From now on leave your manly hair alone. It can't possibly be worth all the grief just to look disgusting.

Ok, it's called razor burn, you get razor burn when you shave hairs that grow back very very fast, one of those for most people.
You're public hair.
I assume your going against the way the hair grows.
Don't do that, go the way the hair grows, you'll only miss and leave abou 1cm of hair doing that. Which isn't much because if you shave agianst and take it all off it grows about that long in 1 or 2 days anyways.
And if you do get razor burn, they're not zits, don't try to pop them, instead get some tweesers and pull out the hair because you'll always find a hair in the center of it.
Removing the hair will help it heal faster.

I suggest you don't use a razer on your pubes.. use a men's hair removal cream instead. But don't get that stuff on your sack... you would shave your sack if you are going to have it hairless... to do that.. you soak those soldiors in a hot bath for at least 20 minutes.

The "problem" with going bare is that the pubic hair grows back..... and pubic hair is thick so ingrown hair is common on regrowth. Best practice is not to shave.. just trim, In my opinion. That is, unless you are making a movie.

I don't know how to get rid of it, but next time just trim it down with electric hair trimmers.

If you do keep shaving, there is always the unbelievably painful after shave. That should help prevent the rash.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Soak yourself in a hot tub before you shave to help open up your pores. You are not getting pimples, it is the hair growing back improperly, pushing against the skin underneath. There is a cream you can buy to help but I believe you would find it in the ladies section tho.

I used to have that problem until I switched to one of those four bladed razors... not cheap, but they give me a smooth, bump and nick free shave every time
