go to www.thesims2.ea.com I know there is a part in the help section at the top right of the page. I used it a long time ago. And if you regsitered your game I think you can call a 1800 number for the code.

If you registered your game through the sims2.com site, you can log into EA.com for your serial number. Just go to EA.com, log into the EA Nation. You'll need to use the username you used when you registered the game. From there, you can find your account info, then click on the button that says "games I own". It'll show you all the sims2 games you have registerd under that name, as well as their serial numbers.
This is the best way to go about it, unless you want to contact EA Games and request a new serial number which would cost you around $10.

i think there's one crack folder in the cd that contains the key generator. just double click it and a pop-up box will appear showing the key generator.
