When I was in care, I learned to cultivate a mind garden. Since then it has grown to incorporate various enclosures for exotics, natives, ferns plus their associated fauna' there are many brightly coloured parrots. The flowers, night and day blooming, do not croon alas but there is a grey bird that seems to have an inexhaustible fund of abuse. It even imitates a toilet flushing.
