YES DUDE! How can you get an offensive rebound, or a putback jam, or a tip-in? Most of the time, it just so happens that the defensive player gets to box out first. If an offensive player gets to box out a defensive player, the only way that the defensive player to get the ball is when a ball hits the rim hard an bounces off long.

Yes definitely. Rebounding the ball needs strategy, either you box out or jump over other players to get the ball. Great rebounders do the latter whether on defense or offense. Classic example? Dennis 'The Worm' Rodman. He isn't a high leaper but the way he boxes out opponents its just irritable he he he moves his arms and waves opponents catches the ball and that's a rebound. Dennis isn't exactly a high leaper but he just has the nose for the ball. He gets the exact position and the proper timing to grab the ball.

No you can't you have to stand there and let the defense get the rebound. D@mn man of course you can. How else would get an offensive rebound. You must not watch basketball. If you do you're probably 5 years old.

yes you can, if you have position or can get position before they go for the rebound..

it is the best way to possibly get the offensive rebound and get another chance at scoring... and coaches love players who will fight for the boards and that is part of being a hustle player... and there are players who do well in doing so... like Marcus Camby and Ben Wallace

You would possibly desire to run a two-two-a million complete court docket lure. It will gradual down the ball and the opposite groups would not have as a lot time to hooked up their offense. You can play a two-three or a three-two matchup zone with the wings following the cutters. If you're athletic with well guards you'll play a a million-three-a million zone, with trapping within the corners. Try each and every one and spot what works quality along with your staff. You desire to be ready to play multiple security. Good good fortune!

What you do is lean one way and spin towards the paint. This will work only if you have a good position.
