Yep. All of it! One day I hope I'll even forget how to speak. I'll be living in the bush. I'm sick of pointless suffering. As if school wasn't enough...gees....Funniest thing is, I really worked hard. It brought me nothing but tension and fatigue.
Creativity is effortless. And its natural. Oh, And it feels sooo goood!!

No i don't think its necessary for us to unlearn anything- it all adds experience to the eventual person we'll end up being. Not all people are 'programmed' to want material things. It's just all a part of growing up, as im learning more and more. The more i learn, the more i understand.
As for influencing others in opinion, well then obviously the person who has been influenced didn't have a strong opinion or belief in the first place to be easily influenced.
You are who you are, other people's opinions and adverts shouldn't sway you.

I think we can pay more attention to our robotic/programmed thinking.
We have been taught, since about age two, to fit into our family and society in general. That programming goes to our bone marrow, so to speak.
The mind is the main carrier of our conflicts and suffering. We can stay conscious of our arising thoughts and not add more thoughts to them. When we "hook" into a thought and follow it a familiar and often repeated 'story' starts up and takes on a life of it's own. A repeated mis-take.
There is a natural 'self' we were born with...it still 'lives', but is fogged in by the programming. It can surface when no longer bombarded by the repeated conditioning.
Life goes on as usual. but with a more natural, unburdened, feel to it.

We must learn not to give ourselves to what we learned, because most of it is garbage which is designed to benefit those who shovelled it on to us. People are constantly being programmed as you said. This is good to verify if you can. Never buy in to something that feels wrong. Our job in life is to enjoy. I have always known this and it is why I detested school. My two cents is that belief is nothing more than a habit of thought. That can easily be verified by temporarily trying a different one out for a while. Life is beautiful, enjoy it!

YES. everything we have learned is a lie. God gave us a choice. to do right or wrong. reject or accept Him. I'm 26 years old, just learning the truth about why we were put on this earth. I grew up catholic, went to a 7th day adventist high school, became Christian, now I just know that I am a servant of God.
The only way to know the TRUTH is to search for it. Get rid of everything that doesn't mean crap in the next life.
God first, spouse second, kids third, others fourth, yourself last.

No, and yes. We exist life after life seeking knowledge, we have the accumlated knowledge and experiences of all creation within us. Kind of like the star trek "borg". We must let what we learn Go, be unattached, open minded then that knowledge will rotate and reveal a deeper truth of itself. after being wrought by knowledge and experience into the "Perfect Man", Like the prodigal son, we will return to "that" father from whence we came with much greater appreciation than before.

To some extent yes but I believe it takes a lot of will power to do so To unlearn is to deprive ourselves willingly of the things that we used to do and enjoy.
It's going to be an individual struggle!

this is especially true when it comes to saving our planet. we must unlearn the behaviors that we've been participating in for hundreds of years in order to save what's left of planet earth. as it turns out when you unlearn much of present culture, you gain a greater non-subjective perspective on the world and all of its supported biology.

Absolutely. If not, we continue in the ways of the proletariat, constantly being manipulated by those in power only for the benefit of those in power.

That's a choice. You control what you believe regardless of where the information came from to begin with.
