am looking for a decent bar in the denver area. preferably something around northern westminster but im open to driving farther if theres a good one somewhere else

Hands down, The Grizzly Rose. On 58th Ave off I-25 in Denver. Awesome place, live music. Great atmosphere.

Check out the Cruise Room in the Oxford Hotel downtown, it's a funky, Art Deco style bar, great Martinis and lots of atmosphere.

At 120th and I25 there is a place called Damon's inside the Ramada which has an excellent happy hour with half off all drinks and appetizers. Also at like 104th and Ura or Quivas is Hiccups 2 which I like alot as well.

You need to say what you're interested in. There's so many different cultures here, and the bars are fairly segregated. You need to be in the right place. Let's just say... you don't want to be the only white guy in the room.
You need to tell more about yourself, or you could get a very wrong answer here.
Gay/Straight?
Cultural or racial preference?
Music preference?
Food? Games? Pool? Darts?
Noise level?
Age group?
We need to know those things at least. Particularly that first one.
