Actually my cousin told me this recently but he is like my best friend. When he told me I hollered, "So, that explains it!!" But I was joking and he laughed. he said that it was time for him to stop hiding it . When he told all his friends and family a lot of them did not want to hear it. though I am sure they might have expected it. His own brother doesn't want to have anything to do with him. Honestly, I don't condone it but, who am I to judge. I love him anyway and I know I ain't perfect. I feel horrible and I thought that in this new millenium it was more accepted. Is it still don't ask, don't tell?

How would you feel
What if it was your sis/bro, parent, bFF, spouse, son/daughter

I wouldn't react at all. It's their choice. Being a friend means not judging.

And look at all the heterosexual people out there that are messed up. Want to judge someone, save it for the pedophiles and murderers.

indifferent. does it really matter? although you bring up an interesting thing...... straight people don't go around shouting, "I'm straight" or "I'm a breeder". So why do gay people think that's so important to announce? They're still the same person to me whether I know that fact or not, and frankly, it's none of my frickin business.

You know it wouldn't bother me at all. My best friend is a lesbian and has been for years. She's only 21 too but she knew it years ago and she doesn't try to hide it.

I would only react by accepting who and what that person is, because I personally don't care if my best friend was gay.

I have many gay and lesbian friends.
They have no choice in their sexual preferences.
Who are we to judge?
