The only thing is that the body does not work as well as when I was younger. sore knees, I now need to were reading glasses. The physically thing are different, but the mental part is great. I look at some of the things kids do now and just shake there head and wonder WTF.

Well..... a couple of things happen... not even at 50... however when you are reaching 40s and 50s... This are phases of life...
1) Physically you will be a little weaker, your heart does not beat as what you are in the younger days...
2) Your hair would have started to turn white.... or worse still your hair will start to drop off...
3) Strangers addressed you differently.... calling you as a senior citizen that you may not be used to..etc..
4) Girls look at you and are courteous .....always very nice... but for a different reasons.... in their mind they you are a senior citizen old enough to be their grand pa...
5) Libado starts to weakened ... if you do not exercise...
6) Physical profile starts to change... muscle slags... etc..
I think above is enough on a plate.. could be much more...
take care..

Wonderful!!
Nothing weird happens..it's a lot like turning 49, except suddenly your health insurance will pay for a colon cancer screening and your doctor insists that you have one. Seriously. Apparently, colon cancer is only an issue once you turn 50. At 49 years, 364 days...no issue.
Well, other than the extra eye you grow on the back of your head..otherwise, no weird physical things.

Nothing weird happened when I turned 50, and actually I was tickled to turn 50.....I was finally, "golden", lol....I began to tire more easily about 53, and now at 56, I have slowed down even more....but none of that is weird...it's normal. I actually have more patience now than I have ever had, and show more love. Not more weird at 50..BETTER! Enjoy turning "golden" yourself!

Body parts running out of warranty. More aches and your body becomes a thermometer and barometer wrapped in one. Time seems to move faster and employers are less interested in you. And you are targets of the drugs on TV.
But what the heck, have been blessed with a good life, good kids, good money, good humor, still a good brain, and active in the man thing.
