Yes, I am, since a friend of the family had needed an organ...and got it through an organ donor. She died a few months later, but still...if I die (which I really really don't want to do!) then the least I can do is give someone else a few more months (or longer) with their loved ones.

Sometimes its for political reasons in Florida when motorcycle enthusiasts refused to be organ donors it was to protest the helmet laws. Some friends of mine still refuse because hospitals and doctors make millions of dollars from transplanting organs while many transplant donors are in unmarked paupers graves and their family receives nothing! I understand some religions also forbid organ donation. I m an organ donor and if you make your wishes known to your family you can be too.

I'm not but I wanted to be...The DMV messed up when I got my liscense and didnt put organ donor down
But I have given my mom the right I guess you can say to allow them to use my organs in case something ever where to happen to me
