My husband and I have been getting alone for awhile now,but the thing is,is that he has been driving my car to work two weeks out a month and won't put any gas in it.How can I tell him to either put gas in it or find other means to getting back and fourth to work.Without being mean and starting an argument?

He says that he shouldn't have to put gas in it cause I already filled it up.I'm just trying to tell him that I fill it up so that i can get back and fourth to work all week. And if he is driving my car to work he should put the gas back in it.but he thinks that he shouldn't have to.

This question is not serious enough to cause any marital problems.Haven't you ever just had one of those days you just didn't want to fuss or complain about something as silly as this. This is why I asked the question. It's only a question

Well, perhaps explain that it's a 'user-pay' system? If you explain to him why you want him to fill up the car, and how it causes inconvenience to you, hopefully that will steer him in the right direction. That's not being mean.

But.....if he doesn't want to reason with you about it, you may just have to be a bit harsher to get the message across.

Hope this helps, kind regards Penny xx

You should be able to tell your husband everything. What are you afraid of him?

If he was a man, he should already know that the vehicle he's driving needs gas. He seems to be immature if you even have to mention it.

If he's doing something that you don't approve of, just tell him. You shouldn't have to speak in a low or high note, just say it like it is and if he doesn't like the fact that you want gas in your car and your worried that it could cause marital problems, then you obviously got married way too young and way to early, because you don't even know this guy.

Don't fill it before he uses it. Just make sure there is not enough to get him to work, and that he will have to go to a gas station. As soon as he realises there is never any gas in it, he will soon get the idea, and either fill it, or find another way of getting to work.

Ok, don't fill up your car since he states he shouldn't have to
put any gas in it.

Also, just put enough gas in the car for yourself, and when he gets into the car and sees no gas in it.

Then you simply tell him you do not have no gas money.

I guarantee you, he will put gas in the car if there is somewhere urgent he has to go.

Good Luck To You!

you fairly basically prefer to appreciate that folk grant you with presents contained in the first position. people do not ought to get presents for you, thats why people call them ''presents'', that's a present day only for the heck of it, because you care about someone. rather of basically telling someone to deliver monitary presents, tell them that you'll be able to choose some funds on your honeymoon, do it beforehand, do not wait till wedding ceremony day to do it.

Simply tell him "honey, after you use my car, can you fill it up with gas?"

Say, "Honey, when you take my car to work, could you fill it up before coming home so that I don't have to?" Simple, very simple.

from reading your other post, about making your child pay rent, your husband isnt the most considerate person, if he wants to treat your child like that, why would you expect him to treat you any better.

If you can't talk to him about gassing up your car then I guess you can't talk to him about much of anything. Your definitely at a loss. Can't offer much to that kind of a relationship.
