Why do they want to hug child molesters like Akon?

liberals support the ACLU, which supports Mambla (the organization which fights for the "rights" of men to seduce and have sex with minor boys. Liberals see good as bad, and bad as good. They are controlled by satan. That's what I have concluded. They claim to love humanity, yet vote to kill the unborn. They complain that the government doesn't do enough to make this world a better place, yet do everything in their power to go against God and His commandments. They create problems and then want someone else to fix them. They are just plain sick.

I don't know about Akon, but I'm one of the most liberal people out there and I think all child molesters should be put to death. I am 100% in favor of Jessica's law. The problem in Akon isn't being liberal.

This is, of course, a generalization. However, those who don't support Jessica's law do have reasons. First of all, the technicalities of the poorly planned legislation has unexpected consequences. For example, part of what this law enforces is a protective zone around schools where offenders can't live; this rule might mean offenders couldn't live anywhere in a city if schools are close together because of population density. This might push offenders to more rural areas with fewer law enforcement resources and less expertise. Secondly, the restrictions are so strict that they would affect the job possibilites of offenders in a way that might eliminate any chance that these individuals would live a law-abiding life. Also, liberals have a tendency to disagree with minimum mandatory sentences in favor of case-by-case analysis and judgement in determining sentencing.

So you have talked to EVERY liberal. And you KNOW this beyond any doubt that EVERY liberal does not support Jessica's law. Wow you sure get around. There are a heck of a lot of liberals in this country. You are positive that everyone who has ever hugged Akon, whoever that is, is a liberal. Wow you are so smart to know people's political bent even when they don't state anything about politics or anything. Maybe you are psychic. Is that it, you are psychic and therefore know everything and everyone that is liberal or conservative. What about us in the center. Do you know what I am thinking right now? If you do you will know that you don't like it or want to hear it. Congratulations on making a complete @ss of yourself.

Because the men who are frightened that they themselves have unnatural desires would be banging drums so loud and pointing at known molesters to divert attention from themselves that the known ones would be driven underground where they are more dangerous and unmonitored, while those most dangerous people who have never been caught are up to God knows what. But that's not just Liberals it's anyone who has a bit of real life experience.

It over reaches usually depending on which state's proposed jessica's law you are talking about.
Some have residency restrictions. They are worthless restrictions. Why would anyone rape a person who lives a few hundred yards away when you are going to be the first person suspected for that crime. Thanks to cars, rapes are easy to commit anywhere a person feels comfortable driving to. Where a person lives has no influence on where a person commits rape. All the while an expensive program is being maintained using tax dollars that don't achieve safety for anyone it is meant to protect.
That is just one example of the idiocy that people use to convince themselves that they are doing something useful.

It would be fine to somehow keep a legitimate sex offender from doing further damage. One problem with the law is that it marks someone as a sex offender who simply had a girl friend who was too young. She may have even lied about her age. For this, his life is totally ruined. They have to better identify exactly what is meant by a sex offender who will face the consequences of this law.
