You add your bank account and/or credit card info. At least on my account, the money comes straight out of my checking account.

first you and the person receiving the payment must have PayPal accounts. Paypal will ask for your bank account/credit card info. You can tell paypal who you are going to pay using the other persons email address/paypal ID. the you just send them a payment through the paypal website. i hope this doesn't sound confusing, cause it's really not. but if you are try going to the paypal website, i'm sure they explain their service somewhere :)

when you sign up for the paypal account you give them the following information: your credit card numbers, and your checking account or savings account numbers.

When you want to pay for something you simply go into paypal and send that person money, tell paypal how much, provide their email address and tell paypal where you want the money to come from, from your checking, savings or credit card. If the other person has a paypal account they would receive the money into their checking, saivngs or credit card as they specify when they receive the money into their paypal account. For them it doesn't go in automatically into their account, they have to go into paypal and direct the money to which account they want. If it goes overseas then in some areas they would go into paypal and ask for a check to be written to them which they could deposit by themself.
