Dear Grouch,

i think Golden State definitely has a chance. They have been playing lights out at home, and i think last night's contest was indicative that they can put themselves in a position to steal a game from the Jazz.

Although there are a couple of factors that made last night's contest a little closer probably. First factor was that the Jazz were missing Derek Fisher who is an excellent defender and has that playoff saavy. That being said one great sign for the Warriors was the performance of Al Harrington in the first half- if he can give them some minutes like that- he can be a key difference maker. i think this series is going to be a long series.

i think for the Warriors to take the series they will have to steal game 2 to get the momentum.

Jason Richardson did not play an outstanding game last night- and Ellis was non-existant. On the other hand Kirelinko had an outstanding game and really changed Golden State's game a little bit with his 7 blocks.

The game was played at an extremely high level and if Golden State can play that well on the road- they have a great shot!

Someone better stop Carlos Boozer. He's killing them softly down low and he has a decent mid-range jumper. And Derron Williams has stepped up to the challenge of playing against Baron Davis. Golden State missed a great chance to steal Game 1 but they should be encouraged by the fact that, despite a big game by Boozer and Williams, they were still in the game and got a wide-open look at a 3-pointer by Stephen Jackson. Can't complain about that. Boozer did have 17 rebounds so they might want to work on team defense and blocking out to get the rebounds. That's what really did them in.

The Warriors definately have a chance.
They weren't playing smart or making most of their 3's yet they still were in the game and leading with ~4:00 left.

Utah fans should be scared and crying themselves to sleep at night! mwahahha

before all the dellusional golden state fans get here and start screaming yes, i will put it simply: They have a chance. Any team has a chance. They shouldn't be here, but they had a chance to beat the Mavs and they took it. If anyone can pull another upset its the GSW, but i still don't think they will win.

NOOO! they used up all that they could against the Mavs. As i always said. All golden state wanted to do was beat the Number one seed. They dont have nearly as much confidence as they did before

Absolutely! Who expected them to get past Dallas? They just have to play the way they did the last series and they have a shot.

Sure, they have a chance, but they probably won't do it. Too much Boozer, too much Deron, and not enough Baron. It will certainly be an interesting series, but GS will probably not take it.

No chance. They couldn't beat Utah last night when they weren't even playing their best game or when they weren't running their offense. GO JAZZ!!!!!!!!
