what aquarium crab can i put in my 10 gallon community tank? (freshwater) What are the requirments in raising it?

Really, none of the crabs like the fiddler or red clwaed crabs are good for a community type tank. Althought they're sold in tanks next to freshwater fish, they need to have salt added to their water and a way to get completely out of the water to thrive. They almost need to have a tank set up just for them.

If you're looking to add something other than a fish that will help clean the tank and add some interesting color and behavior, some of the freshwater shrimp would be a better addition for a community tank - they're totally aquatic and won't bother your fish.

well there are blue crabs and crawl daddys but they more than likely will eat your fish i had a very small one in my tank and mines is a 55 gallon and it killed a fish twice its size i woundt get one reconsider geting one go with a pleco / algae eater good luck

Be careful some(almost all) crabs eat fish.
