Carl Hubbell went 24-0 from 1936 (16) into 1937 (8). No idea how many NDs might have been mixed in.

The record for one season is 17 in a row held by Elroy Face of the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1959. Total record was 18-1, all games won in relief.
