Hi. Even if the rest of your body has a low fat level, sometimes young men have more fat in the chest area. If you are going through puberty, this might just be cause by swelling in the chest, which is normal.
It is not possible to try to lose weight on one part of your body. Think about it, if you chew gum all the time, does it give you a skinny face? No. If you want to lose weight in general, make sure you are eating healthy, do not starve yourself! Waiting a long time between meals can slow your metabolism.
If you want to try to build chest muscles, I know that doing push ups with your hands wide apart can help word you chest. So does benching.
I think a lot of guys a self-consious about that area because they don't want it to look like they have boobs. Don't worry aobut it dude, just eat healthy. Like I said if you are still growing it might go away as you get older.

P.S. There is no additional health benifit to eating eggs raw...it's better to cook them and burn off some fat. Also, you wouldn't want to get Salmonella.

I have the same problem. My chest gets flabby, but i have worked out since I was 14. Bench presses pushups everything. It seams the more i workout the firmer it gets but it is still always somewhat flabby. I was even in the Army for 4 years did thousands of pushups on a daily basis and still some flab. I think some people are just made that way. I even ran for 5 miles a day. I hope there is a surgery for this.

The condition is a combination of excess fat and bad posture (a slouch will compress the skin and tissue forward.) The cheap solution is becoming very good at push-ups (but careful of the elbows and wrists.) Other arm extension exercises can help--whatever converts the fat to muscle. Do keep in mind that you'd need about 200+ reps/day to do that.

The condition is called Gynecomastia.

The term comes from the Greek words gyne meaning "woman" and mastos meaning "breast." In practical terms, this means abnormally large breasts on men.

The condition is relatively common in adolescent boys, and 90% of the time symptoms disappear in a matter of months, or, as adolescence wanes, a few years later. But the remaining 10% are burdened with a social handicap that causes a deep and complex shame, and puts one's relationship with one's body at risk.

It depends on how old you are and to what degree your problem is affecting your life. Check out the link below for more info.

Lifting weights and doing push ups will only build muscle under the fat. So I would cut back some on the chest workouts and do more cardio. I only work my chest once a week. I didn't like how my chest was looking working it three of four times a week.

I've recently heard that using lilac shampoo or body soap can give a guy man boobs, and a long time ago I heard soy could do that. It could be something you're using or eating or it could be hereditary. You didn't say your age but I can say that when you're of age you could get that solved with a minor operation but be sure your surgeon is top notch, has all the qualifications, and has many satisfied customers for the same procedure.

do any chest workout. Just google chest workout theres plenty that will do the trick. It doesn't have anything to do with an unhealthy body, even someone who is really in shape who might have stopped working out would lose muscle definition and appear to have man boobs. incline and decline bench press, chest flys and pushups will do the trick fine

Pushups would be a good place to start. If you do not see any improvement, then consult a personal trainer about some techniques to try.
It is not necessarily about having an unhealthy body. It sometimes happens to perfectly healthy young men.

Enlarged breasts in young men is not uncommon and is a symptom of puberty. It is not a problem and unless you are overweight is not a sign of an unhealthy body.

Some young men experience gynecomastia as their hormones change. It often goes away on its own. If not, you may need hormone treatment. If that doesn't work, surgery is the only real option.
