Way different. The movie has a beginning, storyline, climax, and ending. The TV series is many, many episodes extrapolated from all possible outcomes where Johnny Smith doesn't die at the end like he did in the movie.

It's pretty much the same..but Christopher Walken is great

the t.v. show has a way different vibe to it then the movie or book (not as irie feeling) but I like all versions

yeah, it's very different. more creepy...but that's probably just because of Christopher Walken.
