Let me ask you a couple questions.
How can you live a rich life without your health?
How can you live a rich life with a mental illness?
How can you live a rich life with absolutely no friends or relationship with your family?
How can you live a rich life without appreciating the beauty in nature, even the dandelion growing through the cracks in the city?
How can you live a rich life without the indulgence of hilarity?
I loved your question. And if you are being VERY specific, you CAN live the "rich life" if you become a sycophant, hang with rich friends, do big favors for bad guys, you'll be well fed, well entertained, but your question would still come back to you... CAN YOU live without a fortune?

You live a rich life when u can get through your day with purpose and not having to worry about how you are going to get by tomorrow.
When you say 'have a fortune' i assume you are talking about money. A lot of rich people live poor lives. They have money and material, but the also have a lot of trouble along with it. Example, health problems, family conflicts etc..
So, if you want to have a rich life, i suggest having a positive mind, changing your perspective towards things that used to be negative to you, and start caring for people. If you have a fortune, thats great!, live your live happily with your resources. But even if you don't have a fortune, you can live a rich and purposeful life, and eventually, i believe financial freedom will come along.

You don't need money to live a rich and fulfilling life. If you spread a little kindness and love generously around you you will feel as if you are very rich. That's my philosophy anyway, and, it's always worked well for me.
