He has lost interest in sex. I thought he might be having an affair but he tells me he is not and I can find no proof of it. He has always been honest with me. Anyway, I asked to use his body for my sexual gratification and while he was able to maintain an erection, he never climaxed...even after I gave him oral. I tried intercourse and oral for over 10 minutes but he never even breathed heavy. He says that he just doesn't feel sensitive down there. What might be wrong with him?

I have heard of something called "male menopause" or andropause....maybe you should look into it. My friend's 35 year old husband had the same problem and after they diagnosed him with andropause and he got treated, he was a lot better

Perhaps he has an actual medical issue. Have you thought about asking him to see a doctor? If the problem isn't physical, then it can only be mental or emotional, and you might want to seek help for that as well. Also...asking to "use" his body for sexual gratification when he is not into doing the act is very selfish of you...this basically tells him that you are interested in his problems or his feelings, rather you just want to "get off", and that is probably painful for him.

Maybe your husband is just bored of the same routine you know. Try something new, some new sex positions and see if he gets in the mood and if he doesn't then it will be time for him to see a doc or talk to you about it. And if your husband doesn't say anything or tries to talk to you about it then you ask him how you can help him with his problem, maybe he is just to embarrassed to tell you what he wants.

Go with your husband to your doctor and ask for a referral to an endocrinologist. You didn't say how old he is. The sexual peek for men is approx. 18 years old and in women it is approx. 30 years old. he is probably quite a few years away from his peek and will be in a downward spiral from now on. Sorry but that is why most adolescent boys crave sex and adolescent girls run away from them.

As long as he is willing to satisfy you let him go. People go threw life changes. He will come back around. Just don't make him think he has to climax for you to be satisfied. Just let him know that you are still interested in sex.

Good luck

sounds like something mentally. if he's maintining an erection then everything is working properly.

maybe he's just distracted or something.

but 10 minutes isn't very long...most guys can last about 20 or 30 minutes

I am not sure of the ages but he needs to see a Dr. This is not normal especially if he's a young man.
