Over the weekend he steeped on a stingray and got stung in the foot pretty badly...(pretty foolishly on his part) he waited until the next day to go to the hospital when stuff started oozong out of his foot...do you think he'll be ok?
I mean he won't die like Steve did will he?

I know Steve got stung in the heart, it's just the poison is still in there...

Steve Erwin got stabbed in his chest. Stuff started coming out probably to get rid of harmful bacteria. He will probably be fine, maybee he will have to stay at the hospital for a little bit longer, but don't worry.

I think he will be fine and they will be able to give treatment to him for his foot injury. Steve got stung in the heart which is pretty rare.

Steve Irwin died because it stung him directly in the heart. Stingray deaths are not common. I'm sure your friend will be fine.

No! Unless some of the poison traveled through his blood stream which is unlikely since he gots stung on the foot. Also, the only thing he might have to worry about is gangrene or maybe an amputation. Other than that, your friend should be fine.

I think the foot is quite a ways away from the heart... so he is probably going to be fine.

This happened to me about 10 years ago. The doctors cleaned the wound and gave me antibiotics and I'm fine. I just have a little scar on my heel.

He may get a really bad infection. He should not have waited. Good luck. I think he'll be okay but it might take time.
