Do we have Islamic terror cells at work within the United States? If yes, how should this be addressed?

At this point people are holding onto their "ideals" that racial profiling is not an option, but...

My guess is that the closer to home all this "terror" gets, the more likely people will begin to accept the idea that "muslims should be guilty until proven innocent."

However, Islam could help their plight by having some of its leaders stand up and BOLDLY denounce this supposed misrepresentation of its religion.

No. The government says that to keep people like you in check and meekly obedient--ready and willing to sign away more of your freedoms to the government, and cede more unchecked powers to the President.

This latest example smacks of a government subterfuge. There's too many incongruities to simply take this at face value as the real McCoy:

2 recently converted Muslims who have no connection to AQ or any other groups--accused of buying weapons to kill the troops with--but have nothing in their possession to state otherwise, other than to be accused of watching AQ videos and shouting Arabic phrases?

You might think that this is the real thing, but too many people read too much into one thing to actually allow common sense and logic to enter the fray.

This is why hate crimes against Muslims and other people of Arabic decent had been going up recently.

All because we are AFRAID.

I am sure there could be terror cells in the US. As to handling the situation, that is what the government is supposed to be doing with the Homeland Security Department, is it not? What ever happened to those guys anyway? Are they out hunting with Cheney?

Probably. There were a couple of Serbians (yes, I know they're not Islamic) that wanted to go on a shooting rampage at Fort Dix, the planes that took out the WTC and Pentagon took off from the US, and the original attacks on the WTC were based in this country.

Honestly, I think we kill them quickly and quietly, never admitting that we knew they existed in the first place. No press, no survivors.
