If you know that something is in your best interest, but it is not what you want to do, will you still do it?

What things do you resent having to do in life?

Every one has done it. When people work overtime at work, we do it for extra money. When we spend time with people and even if we don't like them, it can be for getting that client you want or getting in good with them so you can get things in the future from them. Most things are done cause it is in our interest only. (Ps- you can work overtime and not want the money but need the experience at your job. Thats still for your own interest.)

Yeah. I hate going to the bank but sometimes I'll get a check that isn't direct deposit and God do I hate driving to the bank. That's 30 minutes of my life I could be doing something else.

I resent sleep, that takes way too much time away from me.

If it is my best interest, I'll do it even I don't want to do it. I am a human being who lives in a society. I do have obligations to other people socially. However, I will not do anything to harm or hurt anyone.

Often times, we have to do what we don't feel like doing but that is also responsibilities, so it's fine. Meanwhile, I'd resent to have to pretend. I don't like not being myself. I don't like lying but sometimes I can't avoid white lies. I'm trying to do my best to avoid any lies.
