In 2004, We aquired R.Wallace midseason and won the whole thing. C.Webb is playing awesom after his midseason arrival and I think history is about to repeat itself.

I completely agree. I think Pistons are on their way to their 4th Championship. I know some of you are picking San Antonio, but remember Pistons would have won the the 2004 finals series against San Antonio if wasn't for Robert Horry's 3-pointer. San Antonio can be beat - just not by Phoenix!

I hope so too being a big pistons fan, but I am leary of the Webber playoff choking curse that follows him around. I was really worried about the Bulls series especially with how they played them during the regular season, but they have destroyed them so far. They are definitely motivated this year. Game 3 will show me how motivated though.

At the beginning of the playoffs, i picked spurs over bulls in 5. Now i go spurs over pistons in 7 again unfortunately.

To the person who said the west doesn't play defense, ever see the Spurs play an NBA game?

I think the Pistons have the best starting 5, but I don't think they're deep enough to beat the Spurs. And I think they've peaked too early. They're playing perfect basketball right now and it is tough to keep it at that level all the way to June. And Sami Fro, that same guy, Big Shot Bob is still on the Spurs this year and he'll probably hit another game winning 3.

The Spurs have the best coach and the best low-post defender in the NBA. After losing to the mavericks in the conference semifinals last year, they're also very motivated. I'd say San Antonio wins the championship in 7 games.

the pistons really havent been tested yet and the last time the pistons played the spurs they got blown off playoff intangibles also with big shot rob and timmy d and one can argue manu is the best player in the world i really dont see the pistons beating the spurs i do though see them winning the east

im gonna hav to go with a negative on that. it will be either the San Antonio Spurs or the Phoenix Suns. as good the pistons appear, they do not match up compared to the much better western conference. the east is a joke, and thats a fact

They are playing well, and it is possible, I still think It will be the spurs beating the pistons though, I'll get back to you on it once I see them play some more

Thats a hard question, yet i think of it somewhat is a draw. The Pistons performed great guy or woman protection jointly as the Celtics had a nicely designed team protection, you somewhat won't be able to evaluate the two.

I think The Pistons are on their way to another title or very close to it. I can certainly see them as one of the final two teams for sure. They have the team and the need to win!
