Wow, i went through this 2 years ago.... you could always write it on a post it note and put it somewhere where she'll find it, but some place where others won't.
Or you could just say,' Mom, I dont' want you to make a big deal out of this, but could you pick me up some pads? I'm kinda running low.' If she already knows you have had your period she should have calmed down about it by now.

I don't understand why they get so excited about it. All it is is a pain in the butt. Cramps, mood swings and the constant worry if you've leaked all over your white pants or whatever. It sucks. But yeah just tell her you don't want her to make a big deal out of it..

maybe if you just took the last 5 or 6 pads out of the box and put them someplace, then put the empty box where she can see it, she might get the hint. Maybe that will be easier for you, then to just come out and ask.
Or if she has a grocery list you can just write it on the list when she is not around.
Or if you have a sister or an aunt, ask them to tell her, buy them every month. Hope this is helpful.
good luck

see if you both can take a trip to a target, walmart, bj's, sam's club or any value store where you can buy them is bulk or just pick up like a whole bunch at once if you can so you don't feel like you bother her all the time..as a mother she should be there for you but if you have this discomfort try and take a trip every few months and stock up on pads.

Just tell her that you need some pads. She'd probably help you out alot of moms do. My mom buys me pads and tampons at the beinging of the month. Just ask her!

Take hers. She'll realize you need some when she is getting low. Thats what I do.
Or next time there is a sale on them, get a bunch and you both will be covered for a couple months.

Just tell your mom you NEED pads (or tampons).

If she doesn't, buy them yourself.

Or say "mom would you rather clean my underwear and pants when they are filled with menstrual blood or are you going to get me some pads? or at least give me money for pads?"

Write her an e-mail or a letter and tell her that its awkward for you to talk to her about it in person. Or if your family has a shopping list add it to the list.
