If he didnt pardon a Pultizer Prize winner; why should he pardon an immature rich brat that keeps messing up. A traditional citzen will serve 1 yr in prison whereas celebrities serve little to none.

Think about it she could kill someone like Brandy did, dude from Prison Break, and recently rapper Eve was caught drunk driving. Hollywood is making these stars acts seem like its a movie when its reality.

yeah. i think that paris hilton should live with the consequences and should be penalised the same way others are. i know she's trying to set up a petition, but i don't think people should go ahead with signing it because this is a person who's done the wrong thing. she drove on a suspended license. and it was because she was under the influence of alcohol that it happened. what else does she expect to happen? that she would get off lightly just because she's paris hilton? the world doesnt work that way

She is a idiotic little girl who will never grow up. She has had DUI(S), suspended license's, and many controversies over the years. If her mom wants to take her side and favor her not going to jail, well then no one should sleep at Hilton Hotels. This is so stupid people think celebrities are so perfect, there no and punish the ones would don't obey the law. Throw her as* in jail.

NO. She should have to serve her LIGHT sentence like every other person in the system. Stupidity is not a legitimate defense. Also, then I could make some money making shirts that say DON'T FREE PARIS on the front and PRISON IS HOT on the back.

She thinks she can get away with anything because she has money. She never worked a day in her life and is spoiled rotten.

Not only is her plea of ignorance absurd and a total lie, she should be held even MORE accountable because UNFORTUNATELY, she is a role model for a lot of little girls.

If she is let off on this, look at the message it sends out...
"I'm rich, screw you!"

I am GLAD the judge threw the book at her.
Her mother should also be fined and held in contempt of court.

She says the officer pulled her over because he wanted to flirt with her, and she said no so he put charges on her...

and i think she should serve her time, if that happened to me i wouldn't have gotten 45 days maybe 6 months or more. She has gotten away with to many things for too much time, and deserves to be finally taught, and shown how the rest of us live OUR lives, and how we don't get any special treatment because we aren't celebs. She should have gotten MORE time instead of just 45 days, and she will probably be treated VIP no matter what they say.

As for the rumors about a petition to make gov. arnold set paris free....they are true, she posted it on her official myspace to get friends of hers to sign it, as for it being public i'm not sure...

specific Arnold, the governor of california, ought to end each and everything he's doing precise now, make an effort to learn this occasion intently with a great enamel comb, and then he will comprehend that paris merits to be pardoned. inspite of each and everything she is only too especially and prosperous to be spending time in penitentiary. in actuality Arnold ought to get rid of the choose from the bench who sentenced her this merciless and weird and wonderful punishment. I recommend who does this choose think of he's, does he think of it somewhat is a few savage u . s . a . like iraq or afganistan. I recommend human beings, and as quickly as I say human beings I recommend in basic terms prosperous and in call for human beings, do have the main outstanding to interrupt regulations and not shop on with by on probation circumstances, tremendously while there are events to bypass to and social activities on the calendar. as nicely its no longer her fault for no longer understanding what the words of her probation circumstances are, I recommend come on, what person in precise their suggestions comprehend what the words of their very own probation are, we dont have time to pay interest on nonsense like that.

I agree, she needs to learn a little about the real life. Shes had it too easy all this long, now, hopefully she will learn something. But then I think she will still get the VIP treatment in prison.

Well apparently she thinks she shouldnt be arrested as she "provides beauty and exitement to peoples mundane lives" where as i think she violated the law and therefore has to pay for what she did and she is just trying to use her celebrity status to get away from punishment.

NO! Let the spoiled little rich brat spend some time in jail...maybe it'll give her enough time to think about the path her life is heading then she can do something to change it.
