J.F.K., cuban missle crisis, man lands on the moon, no cable, no sattelite, no computers, hippies, black power, Viet Nam War, Richard Nixon, Robert Kennedy, The Beatles,Cold War, 8-track tapes, records and record players,The Rolling Stones, Patty Hearst, The Three Stooges the suburbs weren't getting crowded, Captain Kangaroo, cars made out of steel,Rachel Welch and One Million Years B.C. , I could go on and on but I'm getting brain freeze. Hope this helped. T.V. show called Laugh - In.(starring a young Goldie Hawn)

I was born in 1953 and haven't hit senility to the point where I don't remember the '60s. :) Twiggy and the British Invasion were big then, with everyone wearing mini-skirts, go-go boots, bright eye-popping colors and designs, Nehru jackets, ponchos, tie-dyed shirts, bell bottom pants, beads and bangles, and flowers in our hair. Men started letting their hair grown long and free, if they weren't in the military, and women liked the bra-less freedom. Music ranged from folk like Joan Baez to Iron Butterfly, the Monkees to Jimi Hendrix. And history...child, we saw our favorite President killed and a newsman cry as he announced his death; people go to the moon; Woodstock and Kent State; Viet Nam and Peace Corp; hippies versus the establishment, protesters versus peaceniks, sit-ins and civil rights marches, lowering the voting age and doing away with 3.5 beer. It'd take hours to describe it all. You should find a Baby Boomer and just ask.
