Barrack Obama because I feel he understands people: he works directly with people and actually listens to them, and I think he could possibly unite our country because he has many issues that are middle of the road and that many people from either party would be interested in. Obama also defends the Constitution-that is the subject he studied and he taught as a professor.

If you don't know much about him I suggest reading "The Audacity of Hope"-even if you don't like him or plan on voting for him, it is an excellent book and it gives you great insight to his character.

Ron Paul

This is my first answer ever, sorry I didn't say why so I'm editing now. Research him and you will know why. Don't divide us into left and right as a people, choose someone who actually defends the constitution! He's got a great track record, and I'm sure you will find something you like about him.

I am honest, but I've been a yahoo answers member for almost a year, just wanted to know if the other Ron Paul supporters are spamming boards with his message. Not a bad thing IMO, but don't alienate him please. I just started checking, and a few of the answerers have only recently been members.

Tell your friends, your family first, tell everyone, but don't ruin his chances please. Yahoo news should include him, which is why I even posted this.

I'm voting for the only candidate who is truly for what America is supposed to stand for according to the U.S .Constitution and that man is Ron Paul. He actually won in msnbc's debate on last Thursday, as demonstrated by their own online poll right after the debate . The following acknlowledges such http://abcnews.go.com/print?id=3147940
Anyway, Ron Paul is a conservative who has been in congress for 10 terms and has always fought for the people and the constitution. All the other candidates on both sides are bought by establishment interests that only serve the establishment not the people.

Ron Paul.

Please, I beg of you, listen to this man. And stop getting your news from yahoo. They don't do a good job of covering Ron Paul and acknowledging his success in the first debate. Go back and watch those debates and tell me, do you think Giuliani presented himself well?

Probably Mitt Romney or Fred Thompson (if he runs).

I vote on where they stand on the issues important to me.
