What should I choose as my movies for my submission to the Turner Classic Movies contest?

You should list movies that are meaningful to you, preferably ones that don't turn up on TV every month anyway. These might be movies with an actor who speaks to you with every role, or they might be movies that revolve around a particular theme. Say for example, you particularly like movies about teens who have to navigate the world with parents who are clueless. Or you like horror/sci fi movies with stop action monsters, or romantic comedies from pick-a-decade.
Or maybe these are movies with really different takes on a particular genre or place. Say you like westerns, one film might be a classic western from the 50's, one might be a spaghetti western, and the last might be Mel Brooks comedy send-up, "Blazing Saddles."
The point of the contest is the use of choice of movies to reveal a universal truth.

Ugh! I wish I could get that channel again! We got DISH and we don't have the package for it. I'm only 14 and I love the old movies. I think kids need to learn what real movies are about! Lol
