This is one of those great lies that is repeated so often that it seems everyone believes it.
There are some media options that may present a left bias. There are also many more that present a right bias (eg talk radio, fox news, every newspaper that still runs Coulter's column).
It is worth remembering that more than half of US major dailies endorsed Bush over Gore in 2000 and that those dailies made up an even greater % of total readership.
There is no leftist agenda to the media - primarily it is owned by billionaire donors to the Republican party.
If you do have a study that demonstrates a leftist bias in the media I would love to see it,

I believe if you look at how diligent the media was about any and all allegations leveled at President Clinton, and how completely lax they've been about following up on one blatant lie after another coing out of the mouths of W and his staff, you will have a hard time making a case that the media has a liberal bias.

That whole "liberal bias" things is an invention of the conservatives to put the media on the defensive

why do conservative morons keep saying the media is liberal.the media is ultra,and i do mean ULTRA conservative.
if it werent it wouldnt be the controlled censored gargabe that it is.
some say well "dan rather and other reporters are liberal".that may be true,but the reporters dont have any real say in what they air.their bosses,the billionares that make those decisions,are not voting for liberals.i guarantee it.you may find a few diamonds in the ruff,but thats about it.
