2. To show how things blend in. He shot John Reid, a Texas Ranger. Reid was the only one who survived the ambush and his brother was killed. An Indian help him recover and it was later found that he knew the indian. The Indian's name, Tonto. John Reid then donned a mask and became The Lone Ranger. However, our story does not end here. John Reid grandson was Brett Reid, also know as The Green Hornet.
