Okay, I'm really not trying to invalidate how you think because I'm not a psycho pro-evolutionist, but just hear me out for a little bit.

A theory is just that. It is a theory. In science, however, "theory" does not mean "a passing thought" or "a possible reason"; a theory in science has a lot of support behind it. Someone didn't just go to bed and dream this up and start putting it in books. Theories have been tested, and they continue to stay theories if they do not fail. After all, nothing in science can be unilaterally proven; it can only just not be disproven over and over and over. Something that survives huge amounts of constant testing becomes a law. Gravity, for example, is one of these laws. No one can "prove" it, it just hasn't been disproven.

That being said, evolution is a way of looking at the beginnings of the world that has not been scientifically disproven so far. Yes, all life forms around us are extremely complicated, but so is the environment they have lived in. Evolution is not trying to make the world less beautiful. It is only trying to find a way to see how life began in a way that can be disproven, the halmark of science.

This is not to say that YOU have to ascribe to this. Science is not around to push itself on everyone else. It is there, however, as a means of describing what this stuff of life is. So far, it is our best (scientifically speaking). I am in no way saying that an intelligent maker does not actually exist. Just because something can not be proven does not mean it is not there. You should read some of the procedures in experiments trying to deal with love! I am just saying that evolution fits with the modern matrix of mechanical, scientific thought. You can still believe whatever the heck you want. I, for one, do not dive blindfolded into anything, so I am not extremely passionate about either. To me, religion and science are not the same, but they can be in the same person.

I'm sorry if I at all offended you because I didn't mean to at all.

On the other hand, I do not care whether I offend you, or not. We do not "believe" in the theory of evolution by natural selection, but have been convinced by the evidence. You, on the other hand, wish to persuade people to your delusion, with out one iota of evidence. From simplicity to complexity of the evolutionary algorithm is a well supported theory to explain intelligence. Your nonsense would be a lie, except you are delusional.

Was Bohr's mannequin of the atom an "outright lie and falisty"? We used to educate youngsters that the electrons orbited like planets across the nucleus of the atom. We now recognise this to be fake. If we hadn't taught it in faculties, it might now not have supplied the groundwork vital to obtain the extra correct know-how of the design of atoms that we have got now. Science is not approximately having the solutions from the get-pass. It's approximately *discovering* the solutions, and revising and updating our know-how as our skills base raises and turns into extra entire. Absolute conviction that one is proper, impartial of (and in spite of) the proof isn't a advantage. Do you severely suppose that if we do not have whole and ultimate skills from the begin, that the complete attempt is a waste?

When I woke up this morning, I looked at my arms, and thought "how very like a chimpanzee's arms they are. Why would they be chimplike?" Then I remembered back to my biology classes, and realized that a good explanation would be that the chimp and I had a common ancestor ape.

Many people believe in evolution because we study science and we believe what evidence tells us.
