It started on May 6 1960 and ended September 14 1970. It was the bloodiest battle in human history. The first week alone resulted in 2 million death. The total casualty was 1 billion people. The world's superpower: USA, USSR, Britain, China, and France, all unleashed their nuclear bombs. The excess heat from the atomic bombs resulted in rapid global warming and the destruction of 1/3 of the icecapes. Mutation still continues today from the nuclear bombs.

In 1953, when the US installed the Shah as the leader of Iran. His greed and corruption sparked the Islamic Revolution in Iran. The US had a good chance to end WWIII before it began in 1979, but we chose diplomacy over action and set the stage for all of our current trouble. It would have been easier for us and more merciful to Iran to have slapped the hell out of them in '79, but we showed the world how little backbone we actually have, backing down in the face of evil, and letting them dictate to us what we would do.

I don't want war. I'd rather live and let live. However, if we are in a fight, I think we need to support our troops and allow them to fight towards an end to the conflict. I can't see allowing the useless jerks in Washington to get any more of our guys killed for politics. I say we take the kid gloves off, allow our soldiers and Marines to do the job we put them there to do, and God have mercy on the souls of those who would stand in their way.

The second we found out 9/11 was a terrorist attack. If you see the CNN videos from the day it happened they thought it was an accident at first, but then they hit the second building and everyone knew.
