Tom Brady for these reasons. Every other QB has serious weapons. Tom Brady has always had a bunch of average Joes and what has he doen OOOHHHH I don't know win 3 super bowls in 4 years. They won something like 22 straight games (including playoffs) once. Manning has always had at least 1 Hall of Famer to throw to and Wayne may be a hall of famer when it's all said and done. Plus he had Edge for a long time. The only WR Brady's had his whole career is 5 foot 9 Troy Brown!!!! The Pats always have new targets. Brady has always done more with less and thats why he gets my vote. Manning has the gun but Brady has "it".

1. Peyton Manning - has broken or will break every passing record
2. Tom Brady - Clutch, clutch, SUPERBOWL! Lets see what he can do this year with all that fire power
3. Drew Brees - Last year was just amazing, especially considering he came back from serious surgery
4. Carson Palmer - Much forgotten... But is still a really good QB
5. Brett Favre - getting old and sometimes looks like he doesn't care... Is more of his legacy than current talent at this moment

Easily Payton Manning, he gets more freedom then any other player in the NFL, and he uses that to his advantage. He gets to the line and then picks between three plays, two passes and a run and usually picks the best play and capitalizes on it. Then Tom Brady is second and Drew Brees third of now.

Brett Favre, the man is an insperation to the NFL, he has taken two pay cuts to help the team stay under that cap and is a leader...look at the way he played after his dad died. he is a ledgend and a future Hall Of Famer. He is the best QB to this date. and i dont think anyone will ever be better, try beating 230+ consecutive starts. GO PACK GO!!!!

I hate the Patriots, but I have to give it up to Tom Brady. Without a set no.1 receiver, or even a strong no.2, he passed for approx. 4000 yards last year. He also rarely puts his team in a bad spot by not turning the ball over (picks, fumbles). He is the undisputed leader and takes responsibility.
My heart, though, says Brett Favre. One of the toughest football players to ever suit up, he is the most ferocious competitor I have ever seen.

Right now it's Tom Brady, followed by Peyton Manning as a close second. I'm looking for Denver's Jay Cutler to emerge as a budding superstar as well.
