i want 2 b able 2 do front flips and backflips and bcome a cheerleader but i dont no if cheerleading teaches you 2 do flips or not. can you be a JV cheerleader if u dont no how to do a flip? can u bcome a great cheerleader n less than a year wit no experience? please and thank u

It depends on the school and the coach. I teach them to my kids but not all coaches do. Not all schools will allow tumbling. Your best bet is to take tumbling lessons AND practice with the team. The more you practice the faster you will learn them.

You shouldn't try to do them at home as you can get hurt that way. But you can do drills at home that will help you learn them faster: http://geocities.com/aescougarcheer/basics.htm#st

If you join cheerleading, you are usually taught how to do that stuff, but it depends on what class you are taking. Some schools might expect you to be able to do certain things already.
If you practice a lot, its possilble that you could become good, but with lots, lots, and lots of practice.

gymnastics is were u learn flips.Doing this helps u 2 become a better cheerleader.
