Hey i just saved my resurrection plant from being burned and have tried to decide what to do with it... then i had an idea... put it in my aquarium! well i put it in and now its unfurled....i know it lives in little puddles of water but can it live in a 10gallon aquarium with tetras? thanx for any help. Oh and buy the way the name i bought it under was dinosaur plant!

i haven't seen a resurrection plant before, so i can't determine if it is okay. But i read about it and it seems to me that it is a VERY hardy plant. As for your fishes, it should be fine.

Not really. These are terrestrial plants that need access to air to live for very long. If you keep it underwater, it will die and start to decompose.

Resurrection plants actually grow in deserts and the curling of the stems is actually a way the prevent moisture loss during dry seasons. If it rain, or the humidity is very high, they'll open. One kind is even found in the US southwest.

If it is sold as an aquatic plant at the pet store, then yes.
