Although I believe it was Steve Young and Jerry Rice, Manning and Harrison are making a strong argument.
Young and Rice were each great, great players. The thing that made them special is that they were even better together than they would have been separate.
Manning and Harrison are just unbelievable. Defenses know what's going to happen, but no one can stop them. The fact that they practice more than any other QB and WR shows they take nothing for granted and aren't satisfied - they are always striving to be better.

Statistically- Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison. But if you're going for championships- it's Joe Montana and Jerry Rice.

that can be answered in different ways. Based on the facts, it's easy to say Manning - Harrison is, since they have the most qb-wr receptions and td's. You can say Montana - Rice, but Young was just as effective in my opinion. Still, Montana seemed to be more clutch. I think that those are the best options, but there are plenty more options.

If you look at the numbers Manning and harrison hold the records for pass completions touchdowns and numerous others thats saying a lot considering that Indy has tons of options and has for many years now.
