I would ask your doctor

i take prenatal vitamins, but also i sometimes forget to take a vitamin before i leave my home, so when i stop by my mothers house i take a centrum multi vitamin and the fish oil tablets my doctor recommended. You just have to be careful with taking other vitamins to make sure they have enough of what you need during pregnancy, and not to much of any other vitamin, point in case vitamin A in large dose causes birth defects, so just speak to your doctor what is safe and whats not safe to take.

sure that's secure! i know this for a fact. My mom is a hard artwork and transport RN and gave me Centrum to take with my being pregnant (I certainly have a proper and healthful woman offspring). I in no way took prenatal supplements... I merely took 4 hundred mcg of folic acid and one Centrum on a daily basis. you're able to be taking 800 mcg of folic acid an afternoon and the centrum is composed of 4 hundred. as a result, the centrum and the folic acid supplement equals your necessary each and on a daily basis cost. which you're able to answer your question, sure, that's secure. communicate on your physician approximately doing what I did... it is going to save you $ on prenatal supplements :)

I cannot medically answer your question, but I can from a mother who has had 5 pregnancies, all healthy births. I rarely took vitamins when I was pregnant, prenatal vitamins made me constipated, and my children were perfectly fine. But if you're really concerned, you really should talk to your doctor.

I'm not for sure about that, But i do know that you need your prenatal vitamins for your baby. You might need to talk to your doctor because you wouldn't want your baby be have some kind of birth defect.

Yes, it's safe. But just check to see how much folic acid it contains. The guidelines say you should be getting 400 mcg per day.
