but, she is not being treated as a regular person...we all know that if she had the public defender representing her, she would be doing a much longer sentence than 45 days...
you know they are going to accommodate her, give her some sort of special treatment...
but the bottom line is, who the hell cares...
i could give a rats a..s..s.. if she stays or goes...i think there has been enough ink wasted on that woman, in the mean time, there are people missing, people being killed and abused...but they can't even get two lines in the classified section...
flip paris hilton and all that are as shallow as she is..

Anyone that believes Paris Hilton shouldn't have gotten jail time should be in the cell with her!!
Being a celebrity does not make you exempt from or above the law. She knowingly violated her probation and now she needs to act like an adult and accept her punishment.
In my opinion, she was given an extremely mild sentence. It could have been far worse!!!
Ms. Hilton, you don't do anything worthy or noble for the world or for society. You walk around with your nose in the air and your head in the clouds as if nothing could permeate your wealthy, priveleged exterior. I'm glad you got the punishment you deserved. Let this experience be a lesson AND a wake up call for you and people like you.

I agree! These rich people try to get away with everything and they get away with enough stuff! DUI is a serious thing, lots of innocence people die due to drunk drivers! Plus it's a probation violation which means she was warned. She should be grateful that 45 days is all she has to serve. And she won't even be in general population. She should just suck it up,act like an adult and serve her time. She should be grateful that no one was hurt due to her irresponsibility. Ever one knows the saying "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time! Goody,Goody Paris that what you get!!LOL!! Now that's hot!!

I agree. People shouldn't get special treatment just because they're rich. If anything, they have fewer excuses for their behavior than the poor, so they should do their jail time just like everyone else, in the same jail.

Amen man!!! I completley agree. Non-famous people get jail time for DUI. Cant she check her own dang liscense to see if it has expired? Its not that hard! She is a spoiled rich kid. SHe needs to do her time just like normal people would. If she thinks its so unfair maybe she will think before she drives drunk with a suspended liscense!! COMPLETELY AGREE!!!!

RIGHT! I agree she should be treated no different than any other average American. It's not like it will be a hard time... it will be like a sleep away camp like Martha Stewart had.

I totally agree, celebrities should definitely not be treated different just because they've been in a few movies or are richer than everyone else...it's ridiculous. They need to learn that they are not exceptions to the rules of society!

As a former Police Officer-I am glad the tables have turned on an individual who has shown blatten disregard for the legal system-and has been punished for it!. Unable to hide behind her status quo!
