flowers are sweet and simple. or, you could get something like a picture frame and get a nice poem engraved in it.

If you live close enough to her, the best gift you can give her is your time. Buy her a beautiful card that expresses how you feel about her and take her out for a nice meal. Talk and share. She'll remember that a lot longer than a tangible gift.

There's always the usual flowers, card, and teddy bear.
Or maybe the whole family could all chip in and take her out to a nice restaurant to have an evening all about her. Then I'm pretty sure she will definitely feel appreciated and loved.

Cold hard cash, its a non-fail gift. Its also a lazy one :P. Im going to take my old gal out for some grub. I just hope she doesnt spend all my money on booze :P
